The Hollings Cancer Institute at the University of South Carolina is conducting a double blind study on 500 cervical cancer patients.
Their previous nine years of study has shown that ellagic acid is causing G-arrest (inhibiting and stopping mitosis-cancer cell division) within 48 hours, and apoptosis (cell death) within 72 hours. This includes cancer of the breast, pancreas, esophagus, skin, colon, and prostate.
